Who we are

NWADO SOLUTIONS LTD (NWADOS) runs NwadFix. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Company number 17293410. Registered office: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. ICO registration number ZC262077.

To ask us anything about your data, write to contact@nwadfix.co.uk.

What we collect, why, and for how long

If you join the waitlist

We collect your email address, your role (for example gas engineer, apprentice or college), and optionally your postcode district. We also record when you gave consent, whether and when you confirmed your address, and where you came from (the campaign or page that brought you here, and the page you landed on).

  • Why: to confirm your address and, once you have confirmed, to tell you about NwadFix and when early access opens.
  • Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • How long: we email you a link to confirm your address. If you sign up again before confirming, we may send you a fresh link. If you do not confirm within 30 days we delete your sign-up. Once confirmed, we keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Unsubscribing: every marketing email we send will contain an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at any time.

If you contact us about a college

We collect what you put in the form: the college, its region, the programmes it teaches, the name and role of the tutor or lead, a work email address, and an approximate intake size. We also record when you gave consent and where you came from. The form sends us an email so we can reply.

  • Why: to reply to you and, if you want to go ahead, to arrange access for your college. A form submission does not create any student accounts.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request.
  • How long: for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any partnership that follows, or until you ask us to delete it.

If you email us

We use your message and email address to reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful, or until you ask us to delete it.

Keeping the site secure

To stop automated abuse of our forms we limit how often a form can be submitted. Where this needs your IP address, we store it only as a keyed one-way hash, not in readable form. Our hosting provider also keeps server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to run the service. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set cookies on this website. Your browser’s local storage on your own device holds two things: your light or dark display choice, and your choice on our cookie banner. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we start to, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Our hosting provider, Hostinger International Ltd, hosts this website and handles its email on our behalf. We may share data where the law requires it. If we ever transfer personal data outside the UK, we will make sure a lawful safeguard is in place.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@nwadfix.co.uk and we will reply.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put things right first.

Changes

We will update this page if what we do changes, and show the date at the top.
